Directions
For best results, do not shake the bottle before use. Refrigerate after
opening.
See details below.

Dark particles have settled to the bottom of my bottle of Vino Cotto. Is this OK?
Yes, this is a natural filtering process. These particles are bits of grape
must that have separated from the Vino Cotto syrup. It is customary to let them remain at the bottom of the bottle, creating a more refined, smoother-tasting syrup.

But, if I leave the particles at the bottom of the bottle, did I really get 8.5 fl. oz. of Vino Cotto?
Yes, actually more than 8.5 fl. oz. of Vino Cotto is in each unopened bottle taking into account that most consumers will not mix the particles back into their syrup.

What if my Vino Cotto begins to crystallize?
Vino Cotto by Montillo Italian Foods has a very long shelf life. Due to the 100% natural qualities of Vino Cotto, some crystallization may occur over time. Do not discard. To easily remove crystals, slowly pour the Vino Cotto syrup through a fine mesh strainer, then enjoy! Like a fine wine, Vino Cotto gets better with time.
